ECC SKC began as a small group of families living in the Kent/Renton area who met for Bible study. Under the leadership of the Pastor Johnny To, the church was founded in 1994 as a church plant from the main ECC Seattle campus, with the vision to provide fellowship and witness for the Lord to new Mandarin-speaking Chinese immigrants settling in the Kent/Renton area.
